Watch The World were but three unconnected words to Markus Schulz fans this time last year. Thanks to the release of his most expeditionary album to date however, 12 months on it’s a whole different story. A story in fact whose next chapter opens today!

‘Watch The World’ album track ‘In The Night’ introduced the dance music world to the considerable talents of LA-based songstress Brooke Tomlinson. Now, through a positive cluster of floor-bound remixes, Brooke’s spirit-filled vocals make their club jump. Among them, you’ll find revisions from scene legends like 4 Strings, as well as trance establishment like Eddie Bitar and talented newcomers including Dave Neven, Kerfo and Peter Kontor.

Donning his 4 Strings mask and leading this remix coterie is Holland’s Carlo Resoort. Without losing an ounce of Brooke’s affecting vocal emotion, in his capable hands, the track makes the seamless transition to primetime clubfloors.

One of the most recent additions to Markus’ SMG collective, Dave Neven likewise puts the track firmly on an uplifting footing, while Chicago’s Peter Kontor flips its polarity, delivering a sleekly cool, progressively atmospheric modification. Eddie Bitar drops the most banging interpretation of the pack, pressing down firmly on the tempo pedal and working some Psy shades into the fray for good measure. Through his mix, UK neophyte Kerfo takes it off the trance reservation, replanting ‘Night’ into housier, all-day-play territory.

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Markus Schulz returns with another very classy single from his latest album. In The Night features Brooke on vocals and we deal here with a magical track which is supported by fantastic set of super powerful remixes. First of all 4 Strings provides the pumping driving intense proglifting version with pulsating basslines, pounding grooves, superb hi-nrg synthy hooks and luscious atmospheric breakdown to calm your senses with piano chords, airy pads and Brooke's inspiring vocal performance with that gentle sensitive voice. The build up is intense until the magnificent synthy riff is unleashed to cover the atmosphere and lead to the full on hands in the air majestic climax. Dave Neven is on the mission to transform the original into an emotionally charged classic Coldharbour style version with deep pulsating basslines, haunting moody atmosphere and exceptional breakdown with warm like summer sea waves electronic synths followed by intense synths that awake your senses and bouncy to the core climax with vocals and feel good atmosphere with the dark synths driving the proceedings. Eddie is well known for his very own psy tech trance sound and in this remix he does his best to impress as he manage to balance underground sounds with more mainstream touches. Dominating psy sharp basslines, techy drums and in your face synthy stabs while in the mix he adds rock guitar riffs and blissful hair raising breakdown. Kerfo remix goes on the Swedish epic big room house direction with powerful groove, slamming basslines and anthemic hands in the air climax with large synths and pizzicato melodies. Finally Peter Kontor takes the deep progressive route with a nice version that travels you to dark spaces and places that is perfect for house and trance sets. It is a must have for sure. #JustPerfect #PureGold Love IT   [/content]
