REVIEW: Mio - Eukalyptus EP out on Subjekt / Armada Deep

Next in line to emanate from your sound system is Mio's brand new 'Eukalyptus EP'. Bringing his unique approach on modern-day music to Subjekt Recordings with a genre-defying trifecta, 'Eukalyptus', 'Himalaya', and 'Damiana' all harbor something extraordinary and futuristic. Care to know what that sounds like? Only one way to find out!

Dimitri Kechagias review: Subjekt recordings always impress us with high class eclectic releases that go deep into the underground and deliver some jewels not to be missed. 3 great tracks will bring peace and relaxation. First is Damiana which can be called as very minimal deep house with superb chunky grooves, ambient sound textures on top, great synths and dark industrial tones. Just let yourself go and don't care where you are going to end up. Music like this is the key! Himalaya goes for a darker moody basslines, dark metallic grooves and plenty of nice synthy hooks along with cinematic strings and vocal snippets. Danceable rhythm and long and teasing breakdown with chill out themes and magical three dimensional soundcapes that will surround you for good along with chorus like background voices. Eykaliptus  is equally deep and mouthwatering with great percussion, deep haunting basslines, synthy riffs that move in and out until to reach the great breakdown with vocal samples, guitar riffs and great atmosphere while underneath breakbeat like sequence moves and grooves your senses. Three moments of brilliance for human creativity! #PureGold Love It
