LAB111, Nieuw Dakota, Mediamatic and CBK show a first glimpse of their ADE Art program.

ADE team is excited to present the first projects within the ADE Art route. ADE invites artists, collectives, performers, producers and organizations to see how clubbing, dancing and raving can still enable us to communicate important messages to the crowd.

LAB111
"Extravagance in Uniform"
In nightlife, you can find the power to transform yourself into another human being. The diversity of raves, fellow ravers and club culture encourages and inspires you to be the person you want to be in that specific moment. The exhibition Extravagance in Uniform explores the relationship between personalities, group identity and expression. This exhibition is created in collaboration with Bureau Punt.

Nieuw Dakota
"To the Beat of my own Drum"
From Friday, October 12th to Sunday, October 21st, Nieuw Dakota, Het Vijfde Seizoen and Gray Men, in collaboration with curator Mette Samkalden, present the exhibition To The Beat of My Own Drum. This exhibition project combines the audiovisual work of 5 artists that work at the crossroads of visual arts, the music industry and nightlife. The exhibition that Samkalden curates is a multi-sensory experience, stimulated by light, sound and moving images. An exhibition that does not require any knowledge of music or art and in which so-called 'high culture' and 'club culture' merge, showing how closely connected the various disciplines are.

To The Beat Of My Own Drum presents works by Boris Acket and Nick Verstand, Heleen Blanken, Jochem Esser, Anan Striker and Danielle Kwaaitaal take part in the exhibition. The artists show new works and adaptations of existing objects.

Mediamatic
"Body in Revolt"
Body in Revolt is a one-day program that will be hosted in the dynamic space of Mediamatic followed by the Spielraum afterparty. Together with Bassiani from Georgia, MambaNegra from Brazil and Jazar Crew from Palestine, we will address dance as urgency in times of socio-political crisis. Inspired by the concept Body in Revolt we invited researcher and curator Bogomir Doringer to co-curate a program sourced in the experience of clubbing and rave culture.

With: Performances and installations by Rodrigo Sobarzo, Federica Dauri/Kiril Bikov and Julian Weber. Body in Revolt is created in collective force with ADE, ICK Amsterdam and Spielraum.

CBK
"Emotional Porn Exhibition of Self"
A boundless universe of dance and audiovisual installation which explores our social obsession in self-exposure through the use of modern technology. Performer Keren Rosenberg, visual-artist Tony Markus Sacharias & filmmaker Nicola Cavalazzi create an immersive physical and virtual interface between the human body, image and performance.

Date and times for all events to be announced.
