On February 14th, Armin van Buuren will release the 10th edition of his popular A State of Trance compilation series. A State of Trance 2013 entitles the 10 year anniversary of a series based on his weekly radio show, listened to by more than 20 million people. Bursting with exclusive tracks and remixes, seamlessly mixed by the world’s number one DJ, Armin proudly presents A State of Trance 2013.
On the day of release, Valentine’s Day, Armin kicks off his ‘A State of Trance 600 – The Expedition’ world tour, as he travels from Madrid to Mexico City, Sao Paulo, Kuala Lumpur, New York and more. In February, March and April, Armin celebrates the 600th episode of his A State of Trance radio show with no less than 12 shows in cities all across the globe. Many of the events of the world tour will be broadcast live, reaching out to millions of listeners. A State of Trance has always been one of the biggest driving forces in Armin’s career. Same goes for the award-winning A State of Trance compilation series, representing a new year in trance music. And the 10th edition belongs to 2013.
A State of Trance 2013 features new found gems of renowned names, as well as the latest discoveries of EDM’s rising talents. CD1 represents the proggy side through the ‘On The Beach’ theme, while CD2 lets the listeners enjoy a clubbing experience, with the ‘In The Club’ theme. Armin van Buuren defines the sound of 2013, for everyone to hear.
