REVIEW: VONDA7 - Decompression out on LNOE

Last Night On Earth kick off 2017 by welcoming the talented VONDA7 to their ranks with her EP ‘Decompression’.

VONDA7 has been bubbling up in the techno community as of late, and has certainly caught Sasha’s attention, as he signs her to LNOE and picks her as one of his New Names for Pete Tong on Radio 1. The EP, which includes a remix from Secondcity, will join an exciting and ever-growing back catalogue of releases on Gerber’s Rumors imprint, Second State, Lost & Found, Kraftek, Subvision and more.
‘I think the EP on Last Night on Earth gives a good spectrum of what attracts me in music’ VONDA7 says. ‘I like hypnotic melodies, Detroit chords and mysterious vocals. Whether I make or play music, these elements are the ones that I look for first.’
LNOE has been a key aspiration for the Polish-born producer, and she has been crafting this release gradually over the last year, revisiting each track until it clicked into place.

‘Decompression’ drops on 20th January on LNOE

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]The credible label LNOE headed by the legend Sasha introduces to the followers of his label, the superb deep sound of VONDA7. If you like atmospheric progressive techno with melodic touches and great danceable groove supported by pulsating in your face basslines you will highly enjoy this incredibly delicious EP. Decompression is deep smooth and hypnotic to the core with great chords to uplift and then go back again into the groove. Don't Hesitate moves to another direction with heavy tribal grooves, tougher basslines, pumping metallic basslines, heavenly distorted vocal snippets and rave style chords that add drive and energy. Away in its original form explores the deep tech house direction with playful chords, soulful female vocals, atmospheric breakdown and cool twinkling synths. It will definitely carry you away to discover more about music and yourself. Secondcity remix goes in a much more upfront techhouse direction with great energy and style to keep on grooving all night! #PureGold Love IT [/content]
